The SSSUSA ERNIE JONES WESTERN STATE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER in Prescott has been cancelled. Stay safe in these uncharted time. 16th ANNUAL SPRING TRAINING CLASSIC WORLD QUALIFIER Space was at a premium last weekend with 58 teams playing at least 4 games each at Rose Mofford and Victory Lane parks. This was the 16th year for the SPRING TRAINING CLASSIC and had the most out-of-town entries ever. There was also a very competitive 6 team Women's 40's division. The softball weather gods were kind and the weather was fantastic. The competition was intense with the teams trying to qualify for the World Championships in the fall in Los Vegas. Thank you to all the teams and your families for traveling and playing in this event. We are fortunate to host this event and we hope to see you later this year. Hopefully the traveling teams got a chance to catch a spring training game. The following is a list of the Champions. Congratulations on your superb play. This tournament has been in Arizona since 1987. The victors in the ISA Men's Division was DTP with Pullout in 2nd Place. In the SSUSA World Qualifier the champions were: Tri State Diamondbacks AZ Ancient AOS 55's Graywolves 55 Lokahi AZ Heat 50's AZ Old Spice 40 Major Whatever 40 AAA. Hope to see you there. WINTERCUP CHAMPIONSHIPS Congratulations to the Winners of the 2020 WINTERCUP CHAMPIONSHIPS played at Victory Lane on January 25 & 26. In the SSUSA 40's Master Division ARIZONA HEAT and DESERT BOMBERS finished in first and second respectively. MuffNMen and Jager Bombers won their ISA Coed Divisions. Click here for Slideshow YULE TIDE TOURNAMENT RESULTS Congratulations to Tim and his squad, BBS, the winners of the December 7th Winter Worlds tournament. Also congratulations to Santisi Brothers for winning the rescheduled SSUSA Toys 4 Kids tournament with Ranall's Realty finishing in second place. In the ISA TOYS 4 KIDS tournament Amigos won the Championship in the upper mens and Dancing Pickles was victorious in the lower. In the Coed Division Muff N Men finished first and Ultras was second. Both teams took home the DEMARINI hoodies. Thank you to all the teams who participated and who came up big and donated more than one toy. Helping Hands, this year's charity came by Victory Lane to pick up the bikes and the 15 full boxes of toys. WINTER WORLD TUNE UP & WINTERSTATE CHAMPIONSHIPS The first weekend of November was picture perfect softball weather for the SSUSA teams playing in the prelude to the Winter Worlds and the Winterstate Championships ISA teams.
